InDiCo will support the organization of 86^th meeting of the 3GPP Technical Specification Groups plenaries (CT/RAN/SA). Holding the 3GPP TSG plenary meetings in the EU provide European stakeholders with the opportunity of getting in touch with the largest community of experts shaping the future of mobile communications.

SMEs, Research Institutes, Academia and other industry players considering involvement in 3GPP will be able to participate in these meetings and jump onboard the 5G train.

Participation in the Panel Session: Service Provider Strengths & Collaboration to Efficiently Serve Market Needs

In partnership with the ICT Research Center Renato Archer, InDiCo will hold a tutorial on the oneM2M Common Service Layer followed by a Hackathon allowing students, young professionals and researcher to get a hands-on experience with the oneM2M standard enabling cross-sector interoperability for IoT.

InDiCo will hold a workshop to highlight the value of standards in IoT, in a context where traditional industry sectors get increasingly connected, and where interoperability needs become critical.

The workshop will focus on the priorities highlighted in the Brazilian IoT National Plan i.e. Smart Cities, Health Care, Rural and Industry and demonstrate the benefits of the use of a common service layer to enable cross-sector interoperability.

ETSI is pleased to endorse the 5G MEC Hackathon where LF Edge, Akraino and ETSI MEC are joining forces in the organization of a MEC hackathon around the Kubecon event.

Micro-MEC and ETSI MEC are going to hack using the Micro-MEC platform with APIs which are compliant to the ETSI MEC standard.

MobiledgeX will provide the platform to run on top of the MEC platform and device for people to hack. Mobiledgex APIs and the API subcommittee work will focus on the open source driven approach and the Micro-MEC focuses on Smart City use cases.

In partnership with the Federal University of Santa Catarina, InDiCo will hold a tutorial on the oneM2M Common Service Layer allowing students, young professionals and researchers to get a hands-on experience with the oneM2M standard enabling cross-sector interoperability for IoT.

InDiCo will support the organization of the 7th ETSI/IQC Quantum Safe Cryptography Workshop organized by ETSI in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The three-day workshop will bring together diverse participants in the quantum-safe cybersecurity community to facilitate the knowledge exchange and collaboration required to transition cyber infrastructures and business practices to make them safe in an era with quantum computers.

Telecommunications Standards Development Society, TSDSI, India, in collaboration with its partners, is organising a Tech Deep Dive Workshop on “5G Technology and Standards” at the India Mobile Conference 2019.

The objective of the workshop is to bring together technocrats, researchers and standards experts from around the world for a dialog on digital communication technologies for the present and future and to discuss the opportunities and challenges as India embraces 5G technologies.

InDiCo will support the presence of European speakers at the conference, another opportunity to feature the work performed in Europe for standardisation of building blocks for 5G as well as to reinforce the commitment of Europe to a single and globally harmonized technical solution for 5G mobile communications, meeting both consumer and industrial needs, in urban and rural environments.

India Mobile Congress is the largest digital technology forum in South Asia. Organised by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Cellular Operator Association of India (COAI).

InDiCo will support the presence of European speakers at the India Mobile Congress as well as in the parallel track organised by TSDSI Tech Deep Dive Conference on Standards for Development and Bridging the Digital Divide.

The events will be the opportunity to feature the work performed in Europe for standardisation of building blocks for 5G as well as to reinforce the commitment of Europe to a single and globally harmonized technical solution for 5G mobile communications, meeting both consumer and industrial needs, in urban and rural environments.

InDiCo will take part in the TAICS Global Standards Forum which will focus this year on "The Roles of Standards in IoT Applications – Why standards and what are the use-cases?".

The Forum will include:

• An overview of IoT standards for data interoperability and connectivity
• Use-cases, solutions and best-practice of standards, e.g. Smart Home、Future Manufacturing、Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and Smart Cities etc.
• oneM2M and certification program

InDiCo will enable ETSI's contribution on "IoT standards for data/semantic interoperability and its application in intelligent IoT services" and foster exchanges with local players in the domain of IoT.
