Learn how ontology can add value to your IoT applications developments during this second part of ETSI IoT Semantics Tutorial, brought to you by InDiCo !
Tutorial content
This second part of ETSI IoT Semantics tutorial follows the first part delivered as pre-event to the ETSI IoT week on 26 April 2021, which is available for replay on the oneM2M YouTube channel.
The goal of this Tutorial Part 2 is to provide an overview of how semantics can be applied to the IoT and of how using ontologies can considerably enrich the IoT applications and use cases.
It is targeted at IoT applications developers.
The tutorial will describe step by step how developers can build applications using ontologies on a oneM2M IoT solution, highlighting how it makes a difference using semantics in an IoT ecosystem.
This developer guide will then be put in action in a demo of a relevant use case based on the SAREF ontology and a oneM2M IoT solution implementing the oneM2M standard.
The formal tutorial session will be followed by a question and answer session from all participants.
Expert speakers
The tutorial will be delivered by IoT Semantics and oneM2M standards experts :
- Bob Flynn, Founder and Principal Technology Consultant at Exacta Global Smart Solutions
- Raúl García-Castro, Associate Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
- Andrea Cimmino, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
- Laurent Velez, Technical Expert at ETSI / oneM2M
