SCSC and ETSI are jointly organizing a workshop on IoT oneM2M standards followed by a developers’ training in Jinan, Shandong Province, in the context of the EU-funded project InDiCo and of the QUT-funded project KeJiaoRongHe
This event will be held remotely from November 11th until November 13th, 2020, with the official support of CCSA, one of the 8 partners in the oneM2M global partnership, together with ARIB and TTC (Japan), ATIS and TIA (US), TSDSI (India), TTA (South Korea) and ETSI.
During Day 1, on November 11th, 2020:
The oneM2M Partnership leaders and technical community will present the IoT oneM2M vision, challenges, and efforts achieved by the standardization bodies to design a globally agreed IoT service platform standards for interoperability, their roadmap and ecosystem, some implementation use cases and exchange with Chinese industry and academia representatives about IoT challenges and opportunity in China.
During Day 2 and 3, on November 12th and 13th, 2020:
The oneM2M standard (www.onem2m.org) will be introduced as a promising solution for IoT cross-domain interoperability. The audience targeted by this training includes software architects and developers as well as academic and industrial researchers and students with software development skills and some experience in IoT solution development. The participants will be asked to follow practical sessions to learn how to quickly integrate heterogeneous IoT devices and develop IoT applications based on open source implementations of the standard.
